Season of Divine Intervention has me actually stopping to check drops again, and it starts with Legendaries. Seeing them roll with four base affixes changes the whole vibe, because the item is already "alive" before you spend a single mat. You grab it, you compare it, you might even keep it. If you're the type who likes planning your build around what you can realistically pick up, browsing Diablo 4 Items alongside your in-game finds can help you spot what's worth chasing instead of salvaging on autopilot.

Early Levels Feel Lean on Purpose
The first stretch can feel oddly quiet. Before level 40, Legendaries don't rain from the sky, and that's kind of the point. Levelling is cleaner when your bags aren't stuffed with orange gear that's worse than what you're wearing. Then the dial turns. Around mid-game you'll notice the pace pick up fast, and by the time you're hovering near 40 it feels like you've hit that old "lucky streak" baseline. At level 60, it settles into something familiar, but the road there feels less like a loot drought followed by a loot flood.

Pack Clears Finally Pay Out
One change I didn't expect to love this much is how consistent elites feel now. When you finish an elite pack, that last kill spitting out equipment makes fights feel worthwhile even when you're not in a boss loop. No more clearing a nasty room and walking away with pocket change. That said, if you're hunting Mythic Uniques or that one piece that makes your whole setup click, you still end up in boss territory. Named and Lair Boss tables are where the real targeting happens, and Belial is the weirdly good option this season since his chest can "borrow" another boss's table, which makes farming feel less blind.

Where the Best Odds Actually Are
If you can handle it, Torment 3 and 4 are the money zones. The jump isn't just XP; bosses reliably spit out multiple Uniques, so every run has a point. It's even better in a group, because the time you save and the extra drop chances stack up quickly. And don't sleep on the side stuff, either. Helltides still surprise you, and the Purveyor can absolutely pay out even if it feels like lighting currency on fire. People are pulling Mythics from chests and even random breakables, and that kind of hit keeps you playing "one more run," especially when you're also keeping an eye on Diablo 4 Items cheap for the gaps your RNG just won't fill.
